Placement Regulations

Guidelines and regulations governing the placement process

Objective

The objective of the Training and Placement Cell (TAP) is to facilitate meaningful career opportunities for students and build strong industry-academia partnerships. These placement regulations aim to maintain transparency, discipline, and efficiency in the recruitment process.

Student Eligibility

  • Only students who have cleared all academic dues and disciplinary issues are eligible.
  • Registration with the TAP Cell is mandatory.
  • Resume accuracy is required; discrepancies lead to disqualification.
  • Formal dress code must be followed during recruitment.
  • Mandatory attendance in all training programs and interview rounds.

Recruitment Process

  • Recruiters must fill out a Placement Registration Form prior to visiting.
  • Job Description, CTC, and selection criteria must be provided in advance.
  • Students must meet specific eligibility criteria to apply.
  • No withdrawal allowed once applied without a valid reason.
  • TAP coordinates all tests, group discussions, and interviews.

Offer Management

  • Limit of only one job offer through campus placements per student.
  • Automatic withdrawal from further activities once selected.
  • Internship offers are separate; PPO (Pre-Placement Offer) students are considered placed.
  • Offers must be accepted within the deadline or face cancellation.
  • All communication is via official email or notice boards.

Disqualification

A student may be disqualified from placement activities for the following reasons:

  • Misrepresentation of facts in resume or interview.
  • Indiscipline or inappropriate behavior.
  • Absence without permission from scheduled activities.
  • Rejecting an offer after accepting it.
